Guess what? It’s been a hot minute since I last checked in, and I’m seriously so excited to share some big news with you all! After almost two years of searching high and low, I finally snagged a job in hospitality—and I couldn’t be happier! Woohoo! 🥳
So, let me give you the scoop. For 13 years, I was rocking it in the secretarial world. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great gig, but I always felt that itch for something more—something that would get my adrenaline pumping and let me meet a ton of new people. And here I am, ready to dive headfirst into this wild world of hospitality!
Oh, and here’s the best part: I found a job where I don't even need to speak Greek! 😅 I mean, how cool is that? Initially, I was super stressed about language barriers, but it turns out finding a job in Greece isn’t as tricky as it sounds as long as you’ve got the right paperwork, you’re good to go! Some places are totally open to hiring folks like me who don’t speak Greek yet. Score!
I’m buzzing just thinking about it! This new role means I’ll be surrounded by interesting guests from all over the world, swapping stories, and making unforgettable memories. Plus, I can’t wait to build awesome connections with my coworkers. Who knows what kind of shenanigans we’ll get up to?
While I might be shifting gears from travel writing for a bit, I'm super stoked to share all the fun stories and experiences that come my way in this new adventure.
